Homemade Seed-Oil-Free Peanut Butter

This quick and easy seed-oil free peanut butter  is so tasty, it will blow any store-bought peanut butter out of the water! And best of all, it’s so much better for you!

Like most people, I am obsessed with peanut butter! After I had my first baby, I got very sick, ultimately had my gallbladder removed, and my stomach has never been the same. I’ve found that what helps me feel the best with my current digestion issues is trying to avoid seed oils as much as possible. Unfortunately, every store-bought peanut butter that actually tastes good contains seed oil. But fortunately, this homemade peanut butter recipe is just as good as store-bought peanut butter without all the seed oils!

Ingredients

Did you know peanut butter is one of the easiest pantry staples to make at home? It literally takes less than a minute to throw together and you have a delicious, healthy peanut butter without all the added ingredients.

All you need to make your own peanut butter is dry roasted peanuts (if they’re already salted don’t add any additional salt to the recipe until you’ve tasted the peanut butter to check its saltiness first), salt, and vanilla. That’s it! If you want it to be a little more sweet (like store bought peanut butter) you can add a tablespoon or two of molasses or maple syrup. However, you should note if you add a sweetener, the peanut butter may get clumpy. If that happens, just add a tablespoon or two of avocado oil to thin it out.

Instructions

This peanut butter could not be easier. Stick all the ingredients in a food processor and process on high for 30 seconds to a minute until the peanut butter is smooth and creamy. Place the peanut butter in a jar or bowl and store in the fridge to enjoy on a PB&J or by the spoonful!
