Skyline Chili Dip

— by

This quick and easy three-ingredient Skyline dip only takes 5 minutes to throw together and is my go-to for any potluck or large gathering. You’ll love it because it’s so delicious but because it’s a recipe mostly known only in Cincinnati, if you live anywhere else in the country you won’t have to worry about anyone else bringing it. Make it for your next Super Bowl party, cookout, or holiday potluck and let the complements pour in!

This dip is my favorite shareable appetizer to bring to any get together. It’s always a hit and its so simple to put together. It also travels pretty easily. I take it out of the oven just before leaving and cover my dish with foil, then wrap it in an old bath towel to keep it warm and prevent it from burning anything (or anyone) in the car.

Ingredients

This recipe uses only three ingredients:

Skyline chili: you can order Skyline chili from Amazon, or pick it up in the canned chili aisle at any Kroger, or Kroger affiliate in your area (I live in Arizona, so I get mine at Fry’s). If you’re not sure if you have a Kroger affiliate grocery store in your area, just give it a quick Google search.

Softened Cream cheese: whichever brand you like best.

Shredded cheese: sharp cheddar works best but you can use any yellow cheese.

Instructions

This dip is super easy to throw together. First, spread the cream cheese evenly in the bottom of your 9×13 baking dish.

Next, evenly spread your chili over the cream cheese layer.

Finally, coat with the shredded cheese.

Then just bake it in your oven at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Serve it with your favorite tortilla chips or Fritos scoops, and be the hit of your get together!
