This dip is one of my favorite shareable appetizers to bring to any get together. It’s always a hit and it’s so simple to put together. It also travels well. I take it out of the oven just before leaving and cover my dish with foil, then wrap it in an old bath towel to keep it warm and prevent it from burning anything (or anyone) in the car.

I also love this dip because it’s pretty easy to make and enjoy seed-oil free, which is something I try my best to do. The cheeses are naturally seed oil free, but you’ll want to make sure the ranch and buffalo sauce are as well. Primal Kitchen has a great buffalo sauce which I personally use in this recipe. I generally make my own ranch, but Primal Kitchen has a seed-oil free ranch you can get as well. I like to get my Primal Kitchen products from Thrive Market (use this referral link for a discount on your first order!).

As for what to dip in the dip, I generally use celery, raw sweet peppers, or tortilla chips fried in avocado oil. The Siete brand has a great tortilla chip which I usually get from Costco at a great price (but you can find it at most grocery stores or on Thrive Market).

Ingredients

This recipe uses pretty basic ingredients: cream cheese, buffalo sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, and chicken. I usually used two cans of chicken which I generally get for the best price at Costco.

Instructions

This dip is super easy to throw together. Just throw all the ingredients except one cup of the cheddar cheese in a bowl and mix it all up!

Next, evenly spread the mixture in the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish.

Finally, coat with the remaining shredded cheese.

Then just bake it in your oven at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted. You can also make this in a crock pot. If you’re choosing this option, just add everything to the crock pot and cook on high for about 2 hours or low for about 4 hours.

Serve it with raw celery, raw sweet peppers, or your favorite tortilla chips, and be the hit of your get together!
